Have you dropped into your Distributed Source account recently? Distributed Source's web application has got many nifty little additions, the CRM is now more robust, faster and shines with amazing new features.

Here is a quick sneak peak of all things that are new in Distributed Source:

Merge duplicate contacts

Distributed Source lets you import contacts from a CSV file or an excel sheet. Over time, you may end up having duplicate contacts or redundant entries in your CRM. Duplicate data is a big distraction and clutters your contact list as it grows.

To address the issue of Duplicate contacts, Distributed Source has introduced "Merge contacts". This feature lets you merge duplicate contacts into a single contact and helps you get rid of redundant repetitive data. You can use this feature to merge contacts who have the same email address, phone number etc.

Task Tags

Similar to the tags in your email account, you can now tag tasks in Distributed Source. Tagging allows you to organize the information such that they are easy to access at a later point in time. In Distributed Source, you can also create your own tags or make good use of previously created tags.

Documents

We understand that a lot of documents are generally involved when you are in the process of closing/reviewing a deal and it is difficult when you don't see everything at one place. 

Distributed Source has now added the ability to attach documents to deals, accounts and contacts. Each time you review the details of a deal, account or contact, all your documents will be right there.

Import Leads

Do you have some of your lead records stored on external files? Distributed Source now lets you import leads from a CSV file, so you can now import all your previous leads into Distributed Source without manual efforts.

Registration Report

You might require your leads to be pulled from a multitude of sources. Keeping track of which lead came from which source might become tedious process after a while. The Registration Report feature provides information about the leads and their sources on any given day.

Download Report

Are you a stickler for having a copy of all your reports? If so, you would love this feature. The ‘Download Report’ feature allows you to have a copy of the reports right on your computer and within easy reach.

Tasks Report

When you are the admin of any account, managing and delegating tasks to those under you becomes your responsibility. Similarly, in Distributed Source, the Task Report feature allows you to view, reassign and reschedule tasks. This lets you effectively manage your work force, delegate tasks to your team members, and see a report of all the current and pending tasks.

Apart from these features, our team has also done a whole lot of bug fixes and design improvements which has improved the CRM in a lot of areas and makes it a pleasure to use.
