Distributed Source lets you add tasks to contacts, so you can schedule sales tasks for contacts and allocate specific tasks to your team members. Adding tasks to a contact helps you segregate your action plans, so you can follow a actionable roadmap for a contact and get things done in time.
Here is how to add tasks to a contact in Distributed Source:
1. Login to your Distributed Source account and navigate to "Contacts".
2. Select the contact you want to add a task to.
3. Click the "Task" button on the right pane.
4. You can add three types of tasks:
Call: Select "Call" from the drop down menu. Select the date and time on which you want the call to be made. Add a task description and click "Add Task".
Email: The "Email" task type lets you add a scheduled task "Email". For example, if you want one of your team members to send an email to a contact on a specific date, you can add the "Email" task type to the contact and allocate the task to one of your team members.
To-Do: The "To-Do" task type lets you quickly add a task to a contact which you want to be done on a given date.
Once you have added tasks to a contact, the tasks will be available in the "Tasks" section of your Distributed Source account.
